Our recent Paw-traits

Every portrait below is real client work from our home studio in Deanside, in Melbourne's west. No stock photos, no borrowed images, just the dogs & cats who have visited Paw Prints Melbourne over the past two years, photographed the way their owners know them: ears up, eyes bright, personality first.

Our style is simple and deliberate. Bold colour backdrops chosen to flatter each coat, soft studio lighting, and enough patience to wait for the head tilt, the raised paw or the mid-zoomie grin that actually looks like your pet. We're not chasing stiff, formal poses, a session at our Melbourne studio is play, treats and breaks, with the camera ready for the moments in between. That's how Astro's high five and Luna's beaming smile came about.

Because sessions run at each pet's pace, our portfolio covers every temperament from bouncy puppies, seniors who like to take things slowly, and shy pets who needed a little sniff-and-snuggle time before the lights came on. The studio provides the backdrops, lighting and props; owners bring the treats and the moral support.
