Paw Prints Melbourne ("we", "us", "our") is a pet photography studio based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and Paw Prints app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

If you allow notifications, your device registers an anonymous push token with us so we can let you know when your gallery is ready. The token is not linked to advertising and is never sold. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device's Settings, and we delete tokens that Apple reports as no longer valid.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the studio, and only as needed:
Some providers may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information consistently with this policy.
We keep your photos and account information for as long as needed to deliver your session and provide ongoing access to your gallery, and we keep order and payment records for as long as required by Australian tax and consumer law. You can ask us to delete your personal information sooner (see below).
You can request deletion of your account and personal information at any time:
Deletion removes your contact details, your pet's details, your photo gallery and selections, and your notification token. We may retain the minimum financial records (e.g. invoices) that we are legally required to keep, in a form that is no longer used to contact you.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, opt out of marketing, and request deletion. To exercise any of these, email steph@pawprintsmelbourne.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Our service is intended for adults booking pet photography. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Photos may include family members, including children, supplied as part of a session booked by an adult.
Access to your data is protected and handled server-side; our database enforces deny-by-default access controls so your gallery is only reachable through your private link or signed-in account. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you of significant changes.
