Cat photography Melbourne, at your cat's pace

No vet-clinic chaos, no barking dogs, no strangers wandering through. Our quiet Deanside home studio gives your cat the thing they value most: calm. They explore first, settle in their own time, and the camera only comes out when they're ready. The result: portraits of the actual cat you live with, not a wide-eyed stranger.

Why a home studio

A studio cats actually settle in

Cats don't perform on command, and we'd never ask them to. Because we work from a home studio, not a clinic or a shopfront, there's no waiting room full of dogs and no foot traffic. Just one calm room, controlled lighting that flatters every coat colour, and two patient humans (that's us, Josh and Steph) working around your cat, never against them.

01

Explore and settle

Your cat gets the run of the studio first. Corner-checking, backdrop-sniffing, prop inspection: all encouraged. We start when they're comfortable, not when the clock says so.

02

Curiosity does the rest

Treats, a favourite toy and quiet patience bring out the ears-up, eyes-bright expressions. Playful, regal or mildly unimpressed, we capture the personality you know.

03

Pick your favourites

Your edited, high-resolution images arrive in a private online gallery within 10-14 business days. You choose the keepers.

Not a cat household? We also photograph rabbits and other small pets. The same calm setup works beautifully for them. And our dog photography sessions run exactly the same way: at the pet's pace, never ours.
